Workshop for Assessment of the Regional Information/ Mechanisms Questionnaire,17– 18 July 2025, Cherating, Pahang, Malaysia.
The Workshop on the Assessment of Regional Fisheries Information or Mechanism Questionnaire was held from 17 to 18 July 2025 in Cherating, Pahang, Malaysia and were attended by representative from the Department of Fisheries (DOF) Malaysia Headquarters, DOF Sabah, Malaysia; Fisheries Research Institute (FRI) Kg. Acheh, Perak; FRI Batu Maung, Pulau Pinang; FRI Bintawa, Sarawak; as well as officials from MFRDMD.
The workshop analyzed and discussed the feedback provided by nine ASEAN Member States (AMSs) on the questionnaire titled Current Status of Existing Fisheries Information Systems/Mechanisms, developed under the project Implementation and Assessment of the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action for the Management of Fishing Capacity, funded by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
