Technical Workshop on the Analysis of AMSs Success Stories, Kuching, Sarawak from 29 June to 1 July 2026.
As part of the preparation of the Terminal Report for the Fishing Capacity Project, MFRDMD organized a Technical Workshop on the Analysis of AMSs Success Stories, held in Kuching, Sarawak from 29 June to 1 July 2026. The workshop was attended by nine MFRDMD officials, during which the draft Terminal Report was thoroughly reviewed and revised to incorporate success stories of pelagic management strategies from AMSs, as well as to improve the clarity and coherence of the report. In addition, an Executive Summary coffeebook was drafted. The Fishing Capacity Project, funded by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), has been extended and is scheduled to conclude in October 2026.
