Information Session On The Role Of Fisheries Research In The Sustainability Of Fishery Resources & Food Security In Malaysia, 8 September 2026, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) Terengganu, Malaysia.

ISMAT-SEAFDEC/MFRDMD was represented by Mr. Mohd Tamimi bin Ali Ahmad, who was invited by the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), to deliver a lecture on the Role of Fisheries Research in the Sustainability of Fishery Resources and Food Security in Malaysia through the “Industry in the Classroom” programme for the Fish Biology course, themed “Connecting Knowledge, Industry and the Future.”

A total of 200 Diploma in Fisheries students, together with lecturers and staff involved in the programme, participated in the event.
