WORKSHOP FOR FINALIZATION OF THE MIDTERM REVIEW AND EVALUATION REPORT
11–13 June 2025, ISMAT-SEAFDEC/MFRDMD Office, Terengganu, Malaysia
SEAFDEC/MFRDMD organized the “Workshop for Finalization of the Midterm Review and Evaluation Report” from 11 to 13 June 2025 at its office in Terengganu, Malaysia. This workshop was conducted to fulfill the project monitoring requirements set by the donor—the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) — for SEAFDEC/MFRDMD and the Department of Fisheries (DOF) Malaysia, under the regional project titled “Implementation and Assessment of the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action for Management of Fishing Capacity.”
Prof. Dr. Che Azlan bin Taib of the School of Technology Management and Logistics, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), served as the Resource Person for the workshop.
The outcome of the workshop included a review of the project’s progress, as well as an evaluation of the report on the current status of the implementation of the ASEAN Regional Plan of Action (RPOA-Capacity) concerning the management of fishing capacity in the Asian region. As a result, the Midterm Review and Evaluation Report was successfully finalized.
